Agenda
1. Welcome, introductions, and agenda review.
2. Public comment on non-agenda items.
3. Updates on the Dungeness crab fishery, including but not limited to, the Risk Assessment Mitigation Program (RAMP), marine life entanglements, reporting, follow-up from the October 2025 DCTF meeting, and other topics related to the California Dungeness crab fishery.
4. Discuss the DCTF elections, structure, charge, and procedures as outlined by the California Fish and Game code and charter. Explore challenges, opportunities, and potential needs for amendments.
5. Confirm priority topics for future Executive Committee discussion and the fall 2026 DCTF meeting, which may include, but will not be limited to, Dungeness crab Fish and Game code sections related to fair start, crab quality testing, the 64-hour presoak, identifying funding priorities, and recreational fishing by commercially permitted vessels during the recreational opener. Other topics that may be evaluated for priority.
6. Adjourn
Agenda items and related action items may be taken out of order at the discretion of the DCTF Administrative Team (Admin Team).
Public Participation and Comment: All members of the public, including non-EC DCTF members, will be automatically placed on mute upon entering the call.
