OPC is Hiring an Administration and Finance Analyst – Apply by January 2, 2025
OPC is hiring an Associate Governmental Program Analyst to provide critical support for grant administration, accounting, and other administrative duties, as needed, to support projects that advance ocean and coastal health. Applicants should have strong attention to detail, high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), and experience related to bookkeeping, using state financial systems (including FI$Cal), invoice processing, budgets, or other related work. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a strong attention to detail, and prioritize tasks is a must.
Completion of the Associate Governmental Program Analyst State Civil Service Examination is required, and exam scores must rank in the top three tiers within the applicant pool to be further considered in the application process.
This position is considered Remote-Centered, which means the incumbent would telework 50% or more of the time within a work month from an alternate work location. The incumbent can telework with a management approved telework agreement and schedule. OPC staff are required to work from CNRA headquarters located in Sacramento a minimum of two days a week, on Mondays and Tuesdays.
