Meeting Agenda

Goal of the Executive Committee (EC) Conference Call: To provide updates on topics directly impacting the Dungeness crab fishery, and discuss and prioritize topics for consideration by the full DCTF membership.

1. Welcome, introductions, agenda overview.

2. Public comment on non-agenda items.

3. Updates on the Dungeness crab fishery, including, but not limited to, the Risk Assessment Mitigation Program (RAMP), replacement buoy tags, 96-hour rule, etc.

4. Discuss and consider priority topics for the DCTF’s future agendas, including, but not limited to:

a. Modifications to surface buoy marking regulations to simplify buoy marking when multiple individuals use the same vessel.

b. What managers need to allow commercial Dungeness crab fishermen to transit a closed area when crab is onboard.

c. Revisit interest in establishing a Dungeness crab commission including how such a body will help the Dungeness crab fishery meet their needs.

5. Confirm priority topics for the 2024 DCTF meeting.

6. Adjourn

Agenda items may be taken out of order at the discretion of the DCTF Administrative Team (Admin Team).
