The California Ocean Protection Council (OPC) is pleased to announce the draft Revised 2024 Proposition 68 Grant Guidelines for public review and comment. These revised guidelines are intended to reflect OPC’s commitment to increase equitable access to OPC funds by prioritizing funding within or to benefit Priority Populations and/or Communities, updating scoring criteria, and improving clarity and accessibility within the guidelines themselves. 

The comment period closes 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024. Comments should be submitted electronically to prop68@resources.ca.gov.  

OPC will hold an informational webinar and office hour regarding the draft Revised Proposition 68 Grant Guidelines during this comment period: 

• Informational Webinar: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 (2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
  OPC staff will hold an informational webinar to provide an overview of the draft revised Guidelines and receive questions and public comment.
