OPC’s Draft 2026–2030 Strategic Plan Now Available – Webinar June 18 & Public Comment Period through August 1, 2025


The California Ocean Protection Council (OPC) is pleased to share the Draft 2026–2030 Strategic Plan—a roadmap for protecting California’s coast and ocean in the years ahead. This draft reflects OPC’s continued commitment to resilience, equity, collaboration, and science-based decision-making. 

We invite you to review the draft plan and share your feedback during the public comment period, open through Friday, August 1, 2025.

Council Meeting Presentation 

The draft plan will be presented at the OPC Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This hybrid meeting will take place at the California Natural Resources Agency Headquarters Auditorium (715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814) and via Zoom. We’re hosting a public webinar on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. to walk through the draft and answer your questions.
