Noon to 1:00 PM

Join us for a special conversation, hosted by California Natural Resources Agency, with Pulitzer Prize finalist and Los Angeles Times environmental reporter, Rosanna Xia as she shares insights from her brand-new book “California Against the Sea: Visions for Our Vanishing Coastline”. We’ll talk to Rosanna about the environmental challenges and goals for a sustainable future along California’s coastlines.

From the beaches at the Mexican border up to the North Coast, hear about stories from Indigenous leaders, community activists, small-town mayors, urban engineers, and environmental scientists. Together, we’ll unpack the rivaling arguments, agreements, compromises and visions that shape the State of California’s commitment to a coast for all.
