Meeting Agenda
Goal of the Executive Committee (EC) Conference Call: To provide updates on topics directly impacting the Dungeness crab fishery and identify priority topics for consideration by the full DCTF membership.
1. Welcome, introductions, and agenda overview.
2. Public comment on non-agenda items.
3. Updates on the Dungeness crab fishery, including, but not limited to, DCTF elections and appointments, the Risk Assessment Mitigation Program (RAMP), follow-up from the May EC meeting, etc.
4. Discuss and consider priority topics identified during the May 2025 EC meeting, including, but not limited to:
a. Lost-gear retrieval goals and how to balance with the commercial Dungeness crab trap limit program and other commercial fishery regulations.
b. Commercial fishermen’s concerns around the purchase of their full suite of trap tags when gear reductions are in place, especially for multiple seasons.
5. Identify priority topics for future EC discussions and the fall 2025 DCTF meeting, which may include but will not be limited to sunsetting Fish and Game code sections, experimental fishing permits, and other Dungeness crab fishery management considerations.
6. Adjourn
Agenda items may be taken out of order at the discretion of the DCTF Administrative Team (Admin Team).
