Calling All Photographers: Submit Your Photo for the “Photo of the Month”


Have a stunning shot of California’s coast or ocean? We want to showcase your work in the Photo of the Month feature of our monthly newsletter! Whether it’s a serene shoreline, vibrant marine life, or a captivating coastal sunset, share the beauty of our state’s coast and ocean through your lens!

To participate:

  1. Submit your own photo taken in California.
    • Minimum size: width 1000 px, 72 dpi
    • Horizontal preferred
  2. Include the location where the photo was taken.
  3. Grant OPC permission to share your image across all web platforms and print material (with full credit to you!).
    • Include the sentence “I grant Ocean Protection Council permission to share my photo across all web platforms and print materials with the attribution: [INSERT YOUR NAME/REQUESTED ATTRIBUTION HERE]”
